About Port City Nidhi Limited
Founded by Mr. A.M.M.A Jeyaraj and his son Mr. J. Suriyamurthy, Port City Nidhi Limited was established to bring the benefits of organised savings and lending to families in the rural and semi-urban parts of Tamil Nadu who had limited access to formal banking.
Operating strictly within the regulatory framework of the Nidhi Rules, the company mobilises deposits exclusively from its members and channels them back into the community through responsible lending — a model built on mutual trust rather than external capital.
Today, the company owns land and branch premises in Tuticorin, Puthiamputhur, Kayalpatnam, Kurumbur, Alangulam, Sankarankoil and Udangudi, reflecting a long-term commitment to the communities it serves.
